This excellent book contains 5 stories. In the first story, a new kid named Anwar enrolls in the Islamic school, and the other children are not nice to him. A boy named Muhammad becomes jealous of Anwar, though, when the other boys begin to accept him. When Muhammad starts mistreating Anwar, the other boys try to talk Muhammad into apologizing, but Muhammad stubbornly refuses. Ultimately, though, Muhammad realizes that he must apologize and find a way to make things right. In the second story, MuhammadÆs grandmother dies, and his family must come to grips with the loss. Muhammad learns how important it is to treat oneÆs mother well. In the third story, a group of Muslim men decide to force the drug dealers to leave their neighborhood after a young boy is shot to death while walking down the street. In the fourth story, some young Muslim boys participate in a study of television and realize just how bad it is. They realize that most advertising is lying and that most movies are harmful. In the final story, a young boy named Mustafa tells the story of his Muslim ancestors who were brought to America as slaves.
